Rachel is the founder and owner of The Health Movement and mum to two very young children. She thoroughly enjoys keeping fit and strong and has always had a keen interest in the health and fitness industry and its benefit on both the mind and body. After a lifetime of sports & fitness (soccer, tennis, competitive dressage & show jumping, marathons, cross fit, and fun runs), Rachel felt she needed some balance and restorative care for her body, especially before she entered motherhood. She trained to be an instructor with Stott Pilates in 2017 and honestly believes that balance is the key. Rache practices what she preaches, always aiming to train 4-5 days a week doing Reformer Pilates, Yoga, HIIT and weightlifting, as well as walking and short runs. Since balancing her fitness routine her body is stronger and healthier, both mentally and physically.

She strongly believes that Pilates is a must for everyone, whether you play sport, attend the gym, or would like to get back into shape. Rachel can help you find a routine that works for you, your lifestyle and personal goals.
Rachel is very passionate about Pregnancy, Childbirth and Postnatal care and has given birth twice in 2 years; her youngest just turned 2! She experienced first-hand the positive impact Pilates has had on her body! She felt strong and energised both during and after her pregnancies! Rachel understands motherhood and wants all mums to be able to access reformer pilates, to not only strengthen their pelvic floor and core, but get strong to manage a growing baby. She created The Health Movement with that in mind. She is pre and postnatal trained and has a safe enclosed space with toys at the studio for bub (under 2) to watch Mum workout.
